Aragon Pyrenees – 22nd-29th September 2026

A seven-night trip flying into and out of Zaragoza, covering around 700 miles and including a couple of walks on precarious elevated walkways along canyon walls, one in the Pyrenees (Pasarelas de Panticosa) and the other near Alquezar (Pasarelas del Vero), numerous castles, some crazy architecture, a mad medieval street festival, a park with a lot of waterfalls, cheap wine everywhere and not forgetting copious pinxos in El Tubo, Zaragoza.

Car hire in Zaragoza is peculiar. There is only one, highly dubious, agency at the airport. All of the reputable agents are at Zaragoza Delicias train station which is a taxi or bus ride from the airport (there are no trains from the airport). And Zaragoza Delicias is itself a 10 minute drive from the centre of town. TL;DR – their infrastructure was designed by an idiot.
